Please note: This is a generic supply list with necessary items for Pre-K. Please contact your child’s classroom teacher to obtain a specific supply list for your child’s room.
Coral Sunset Elementary School encourages regular attendance, aiding students in their progress. With that in mind, some classroom supplies are appreciated to help keep our classroom germ-free and organized. If you wish to donate any of these items, please send them to school with your child. Thank you.
Necessary Items
Your child MUST have the following items with his/her name on them.
- Backpack 12’ x 15’ or larger – please NO small/mini backpacks and NO backpacks on wheels that roll!!! The mini backpacks make it difficult for children to fit their snacks, important papers, or art projects. The wheelie backpacks frequently cause tripping and accidents. Please remember to send your child’s backpack every day; otherwise, it will be very difficult for your child to physically carry and care for all the necessary items they need.
- Healthy snack – Absolutely no nut products allowed. Children have allergies, thank you! Please NO soft drinks/soda – place snack in a paper/plastic bag or lunch box with your child’s name on it
- 2 Complete changes of clothes (shorts/pants, shirt, socks & underwear) - place in a ziploc type bag with child’s name on it as these will be left at school and returned to you at the end of the school year if they are not used by your child. Soiled clothes will be sent back to you in a closed plastic bag. If your child comes home in their spare clothes, please wash them and return them to school for re-use. Thank you!
- Pull-Ups with Velcro sides, if your child needs these, please send a pack to school, and/or keep 2 or 3 in a baggie in the backpack at all times
- 2 packs of baby diaper wipes (only required if your child is still in diapers/Pull-Ups)
Optional but Appreciated Classroom Supplies
- 2 large boxes of tissues
- 2 rolls of paper towels
- 1 container of liquid hand soap
